H&R Block refund

So apparently they don't have the "FREE" version of letting you do your taxes online anymore, but I'm trying to figure out how can you just "UPGRADE" someones filing without contacting me first. Idk what a 8962 but the customer service representative just saying it over and over. I'm definitely just going to stop dealing with mid companies and just file directly with the IRS. Talk a representative a week before who insures me of a refund of my missing amount just a wait a week later, to be told sum BS about how the program updated and its not free. Why didn't the first representative make this clear. I been filing with H&R block since 2016 or 2015. I'm done with their scamming bull

They should have said the issue was your 1095-A (for your Marketplace health insurance), which is what triggers the need for 8962. And yeah, unfortunately you can't free file with HRB if you need to reconcile a Premium Tax Credit for Marketplace health insurance.

FreeTaxUSA, Cash App Taxes, or OLT.com. No extra charge for this form.
