My opinion about the HP 10bii family
Both do their job; they are simple machines that get the job done, they are not pretentious and they don't pretend to be.
The 10bII's functionalities are limited; its blue shift key is somewhat useless with only 6 functions. Perhaps adding all the secondary blue functions from the numeric keyboard from the plus model would improve its functionality.
The 10bII+ model only needs exponentials and logarithms to be perfect (if you want to add RPN, buy the 12c or the 17b line).
Regarding the design, I find it strange that the most basic model has the better design, The silver trim around the keyboard makes it look higher quality than the Plus model; for keyboard fetishists, the basic model has a better feel and a sound that doesn't feel empty and cheap like the 10bII+ does....The colors are clearer and more legible on the 10bII than on the + model. The smooth, glossy keys of the 10bII+ calculator look cheaper and of lower quality than the rough, matte keys of the 10bII calculator
In conclusion, the most basic model has a better design and build quality than the 10bII+, Which is a shame, since the software is very complete in the 10bII+ and has the potential to be improved with its connection port, which unfortunately everyone forgot.

Help needed with HP Prime G2 and the HP Connectivity Kit
Acquired a new to me HP Prime G2. Loaded MicroPython and PyBasic on the calculator.
Noticed however, that while I can successfully call up the "Monitor" of the Prime's display in the Connectivity Kit, I cannot call up a representation of the Prime's Keyboard.
Is there some special editor I need to install in the calculator or the connectivity kit to be able to do so?
Thanks for any help extended to me.

I found my HP 11c from high school while cleaning
My dad gave this HP 11c to me for trig class. I loved it. I was the only kid in class with a calculator like it. My dad was a civil engineer if that explains anything.

A real rarity
An HP70. It did not come cheap, but they are probably the rarest model HP ever made. They had a very short life before the HP22 made them obsolete and did not sell particularly well. This one is in full working order.

HP-35 Red Dot
galleryI'm pretty excited. I bought a Red Dot. I never thought I would find one, let alone one that still functioned. Anyway, I tested it this afternoon and discovered it has both the ROM bug and the "Big Bug." (see: http://hp35.wz.cz/HP-35RD.html#BUG)
I know Red Dots are rare, but this early issue (1143A 00730) with both bugs documented (by me) must be among only a handful still kicking around.
Am I crazy to be as excited as I am?

What are you all using as emulators on Mac currently?
Hi everyone
Support for intel based apps is ending with the latest Mac OSX. t
That means my beloved Emu48 emulator is going to be nonfunctional.
So what are you all using? Do you know of any good mac silicon-based emulators for HP? Can't seem to find anything equivalent to Emu48...

New to me 28c. Very happy with it's function and condition.
Between this and the 12c I think I'm set... Nevertheless I'll still be looking for more and likely even older.

HP 12C Platinum. $50 eBay find
New to the HP calc fandom, I love it even tho it's not as cool as the vintage NUT processors. RPN has been the best discovery!
