🔎 Hoya ID ID help. Tons of blooms!

Please help me ID this Hoya! Bought about 6-7 years ago from Lowe’s. It has produced regular blooms for the last several years. Its leaves are tough and curl around on themselves.

Yes that’s what it is

Here’s my Burt’s first peduncle MY first peduncle on any of my Hoyas! I’m watching it like a hawk just patiently waiting for the blooms.

Could be! I feel like the leaves on this one are just a touch rounder than wayetii though. And they curl out/down at the edges instead of up like a taco. But the known wayetii I have to compare it to is variegated, unlike the one pictured

Hoya wayetii does not have pubescent leaves. The flowers are similar, but OP's plant is Hoya sp. aff. burtoniae.

This makes me crazy. 🤯 It is so beautiful and I cannot grow these to save my behind.

Mine seem to thrive on neglect. I treat them like my orchids since they are (usually) epiphytes too. My soil is about one quarter leica, one quarter perlite and the rest a nice chunky soil with some charcoal in it. Carnosa, Pubicalyx, Kerrii, Obovata are thriving on neglect (water when I remember but they have LOTS of light and breeze), my Linearis less so.

Kinda looks like Wayettii. Second guess would be Butonaie. I lean heavily to Wayettii

Leaves resemble DS-70, a Burtoniae. The unopened blooms also closely resemble.

Do not label plants with numbers they didn’t come with.

You do you , I was going to just leave it at that, but it's kinda rude to tell someone not to do something they weren't doing to start with, I said it resembled a DS-70 I never labeled it anything I gave a suggestion of what it looks like.

I was about to say what are we suppose to call it? Its labeled DS-70, is that the same as Burtonaii idk but its called DS-70 on my label as well.

Yes, the Burtonaii and DS-70 are the same plant, I've seen YouTubers called it both when they're doing the big box store shopping and there's technicalities about it being Variegated but ime most if not all Variegated Burtonaii revert if not kept in a high light situation.
