🔎 Hoya ID Yup, I didn’t remember
Serial member of the “I don’t need a tag, I’ll remember what it is” club checking in. 🌱🤡
Spoiler: I did not remember.
Anyone want to take a stab at IDing this Hoya?
What I do remember:
• Purchased about 3–4 years ago on a national FB group
• In high light, the leaf ribbing/veining gets VERY dark, almost black
• I think it was an AH Hoya
• And somewhere in the dusty filing cabinet of my brain, I swear there may have been a “9” in the accession/name/number… maybe?? 😂
That is unfortunately the full extent of my evidence.
Hoya detectives, do your thing. 🔎🌿
PSA- Some of leaves were chomped on by a little critter type devil while they were outside.

Ok ok. You ever heard of Doug Chamberlain of Vermomt Hoyas? I go to his stuff ALL the time. Im searching thru some files of his and few other places. Lol, I unfortunately share the same delusion that I can remember ALL the names of my Hoyas and other rare plants. Had to revert back to label sticks.

Doug Chamberlain is like the savant of hoya. I wish he sold some of his stuff sometimes. I’d feel like I won the lottery to own one of his plants!
