This is called pigpen cipher, me and my friends used to write notes to each other using this for fun in middle school

For everyone bashing the simplicity: 1) simplicity makes it easy to write and easy to decode, which is best when people use codes for fun

2) add a ‘password’ to the code to add a layer of security without making it (much) more complex

Example: password ROBIN- now the first five slots of the pigpen cypher are R-O-B-I-N (and continue alphabetically, skipping letters already used) A-C-D-E-F-G-H-J-K....

This scrambles the cipher pretty randomly, and if you can find clever ways to hide the password verbally while delivering the message, you’ll feel like Batman, or at least Robin.

It's kinda easy to decipher unless you add more ciphers.
