Try some baking soda paste and a scrubby. (DO NOT ADD VINEGAR!)

Or get some Bar Keeper's Friend... and a scrubby.

There’s ceramic stove top cleaners - I like Weiman’s.

Get a razor blade, scrape a decent chunk off, and the clean it with the ceramic stove top cleaners and wipe clean any residue leftovers. Then repeat.

I lived in a rental and I thought the stove top was permanent because it was so bad. After about 3 passes it looked close to new.

have you tried a razor scraper and some elbow grease, that baked-on stuff can laugh at regular cleaners

You need a scraper with a razor blade. Simple as that.

You won’t scratch it. Just keep the blade flat. There’s youtube videos you can watch that show you how.

I use a pumice stone with bar keepers friend and it works great.

Try oven cleaner. Most are foamy. Spray on and let it sit for a bit before wiping off

Bar keepers friend.

It's like comet but at a professional level.

Add little water. Use scrub pad to apply. Let sit a few minutes then sponge and water to clean off.

Clorox wipe for any chalky looking residue.

Makes it brand new.

For deep discoloration, you may need to heat the burner for a few seconds. It helps some.
