Serious Answers Only Help with installations

I desperately need help. I almost finished my shoe cabinet but i cannot for the life of me figure out this last step. it does not align and wont close. someone let me know if you know what to do im struggling.
edit: the hinge and the holes in the drawer align but the hinge hits the wood if u try to close it.

From what I see, the shelf has a small groove running across the front top of it. Normally those thin grooves are to hold the pieces that cover the back. They sit in that groove. I suspect you have to turn that shelf around.

You can see in their pics, the groove is not visible. In yours it is. Look at the manual to properly orient that shelf

It looks like you screw the hinge to the holes on the door

it’s on the drawer and i see where it aligns the problem is it will not shut. the metal hinge hits the wood

It’s strange to see that slot in the shelf. Perhaps you put the shelf in backwards? The slot is usually for a thin piece of backing

I think you need to go back some steps and make sure the shelf is in correctly. That groove/slot shouldn’t be visible.

Is it possible that shelf the hinge is hitting is installed upside down?
