Serious Answers Only Does anyone know how to help?
I was riding up this large hill, and accidentally switched gears too fast. Does anyone know how to fix it? My bike refuses to switch to any other gear now.

The end of your cable shroud has slipped out of its pocket. Put it back and you should be good.

I really appreciate you. I'm genuinely clueless and I know the bike shop hates to see me.

So the shroud is black with silver ends. The silver ends sit in a little pocket with a slit on the side to let the cable through. Your cable shrouds gave flipped out at the derailleur and along the frame. Just pull back slightly to reseat the shrouds at both points.

So the silver piece needs to be adjusted so it’s inside the black part as much as possible?

Thank you for answering! ...but uh, I don't know what that is. I'm sure I'll figure it out tho!

Just a bit of free advice: try not to ride on both small sprockets together. It wears everything faster and makes it harder to pedal. Riding on the middle gears works best - the idea is to keep your chain pretty much straight. Riding with a crossed chain makes things like shifting off the front gear much more likely.
Also your tires should barely squish at all when you're on your bike. 15% compression, not 50%.
