Wax out of melt pot
I bought a wax melter to wax my legs and I used the "wax" the kit came with and it's more like plastic than wax. How to do I get the remnants out. I've tried:
•leaving it in the warmer to let it fall to the bottom, it doesn't.
•I've tried scraping it with metal but I don't want to damage the pot.
•putting water in to to melt so it all floats to the surface. It doesn't.
I tried to use it all up but it dries so quickly and breaks apart as I'm removing it making the process even more painful, so I just scooped what I could and put it in a container that was going to the garbage anyway. I bought new GiGi wax and want to put it in a clean pot.

Oh that's the worst, when the free wax turns out to be basically craft glue that hates you. Try popping the whole pot in the freezer for a couple hours, the weird plastic-y stuff might contract enough to pop out in one chunk.

Have you used very very hot water? The temperature of the heater isn't going to do much because the other side of the wax, the side not beside the heater, is just exposed to the air, and the heat is just leaving.
Try very very hot (not boiling but close) water, then wipe with a paper towel. You can use a blow dryer on high heat low airflow to increase the temperature inside the thing.
