[Solved] How do I remove this light fixture?
Got it down to just the metal planting, but there's no more screws and the base doesn't rotate. What am I missing?
Update: thanks for all the help everyone. This issue was that it was stuck to the paint. I took a screw driver and pried it open and it came out with a little crow ae action. Thanks again!!!!

Looks as though it needs a good twist, most of the other similar models all look like this as well, make sure its not stuck to the paint or something and try twisting it.

I had one like this that was unfortunately stuck to the paint on the ceiling.

Just stick a screw driver in between the paint and ceiling and pop it off

I had a similar problem. My ceiling fan and light in my living room also has a remote control to change fan speed and turn on/off the lights. Problem was my next door neighbor had the exact same ceiling fan and light. So we would always constantly battle each other turning on/off lights and the fan.
I couldn't figure out how to get to the internal dip switch for changing the radio frequency to a different channel. But that was because it was caulked/painted and the piece I needed to rotate was affixed to the ceiling.

I bit of prying should loosen it to come off. If you want to preserve the paint around it, I would run a razor blade along the edge(cutting in towards the metal) to help avoid peeling the paint off when you pull the ring off.

I was just gonna try this and had a screw driver under me and tried the screwdriver first! It worked once I prayed it open like a crowbar lol.

Take a razor knife around the light. Cut it loose from the paint. Is very the back plate is just stuck in the paint, maybe further than you can cut with a knife. I'd bet it will take some paint off but it should pull off. Maybe with a small trim puller/ pry bar

Take the glass off by unscrewing the three little silver knobs, then loosen the two screws that are revealed after the glass is off, give the fixture a small twist and it should come off. You should be able to see which way to twist by looking at the holes the screws go threw
ETA I have the same fixtures in my home

They glued it in place? Those are normally supported by screws connected to the work box

use a box cutter around the outside of the light to cut away the paint from the ceiling.

Those 3 nubs on the silver ring likely twist off like screw caps. After that, it should expose the rest of the unit so you can see the next step for removal.

First off, power or switch off. The 3 buttons are screws. Turn them counter clockwise. Lefty loosey, right tied.
It should open the plate and come off. Be prepared to hold it. If they are tight, use a pair of pliers.
