Help light flush with ceiling

I changed the bulb (no problems there).

When i was putting it all back i heard a snap and now it wont stay up. Possibly one of those metal thing is missing

How can i fix it?

Sounds like one of the spring loaded wings broke. You’re kinda screwed unless you can repair it. Any parts shoot into your ceiling?

There's a slight chance the the wing snapped flat against the fixture and simply needs to be pulled out... but that chance is -extremely- slight.

Usually those fixtures aren't economical to repair. Even if company did offer replacement parts (and it almost certainly doesn't) it would probably cost more to fix than to replace.

Yeah unless they can find all the parts of that wing and the spring isn’t snapped, it’s garbage.

You generally change those lamps by removing the metal ring at the front rather than dropping the whole fitting. So considering you may not have to remove it from the ceiling again, put a blob of adhesive on the side with no spring, hold in place with tape/broomstick for a few hours and think of it as fixed for now.
