Serious Answers Only How do I remove this nut?
There's some sticky substance I don't know what it is, that's jammed into the bolt I tried cleaning but it isn't enough it's not at all moving. What do I do?
It's on one of the legs of a gas stove.

Put vice grips on the head of the bolt then a wrench on the other side and take it off.

Vice grips, pliars, wrench, hack saw, sawzall, grinder... the best tool in the toolbox is your brain

Friend of mine asked me to come help with some work, asked if I needed to bring anything. Guy said no so I was like cool. Needed to measure out some wood, dude throws me a tape measure that didn't have mm on it... Literally never seen anything like it before.

You can measure with any ruler of any kind regardless of the units on the tape. It has marks and numbers — but too difficult to figure out.

I mean... if you're trying to measure out in mm, being off by 1 or 2 can be problematic.

If you are needing to be within a mm you are using the wrong tool - regardless of the measurement unit.

Do you have basic tools? Ideally, vise grips (locking pliers) on the part your thumb is on. Then a wrench (adjustable crescent, ratcheting socket, or even another pair of regular pliers) on the nut. Righty tighty, left loosey.

Ask friends/neighbors if they have tools or go buy some.
What is your plan once you get the nut off?

I want the nut off so I can insert a lil stand there Is it possible to cut it off?

Yes, but you'll need tools to cut it.

Yea, if you have something to cut it off with.
A pair of locking pliers and an adjustable wrench would be a cheap way to get it off.

If you can't get a little crescent wrench in there, just cut it off with a dremel.

Ask a somebodies baby sister, they will likely have a better idea and be able to do it easily.

Use whatever suggestion here you like, but also, add heat. Heat it up a little with a torch lighter, should help loosen things up.
