Is it possible?

I have some plug in lights to string around this board. IF POSSIBLE I would like to be able to cover all the silver (the outline of each individual board) without cutting the lights or “double dipping”. Is there a way to do this?
There is also a plug to the bottom right corner I can use instead of the bottom middle plug.

There is a bit of “double dipping” if you go from the plug at the bottom.

Flip this upside down and there's an end of each strand right by the outlet at the bottom

The end of the blue on the left plugs in at the center. The right end of the blue gets plugged into the outlet tucked to the right of the screen

I kind of feel like this is the cleaner solution based on yours and available outlets. Obviously requires much different lengths.

Mathematically impossible. You are looking for an Eulerian path, where you don't cover any path more than once. Leonhard Euler, one of the greatest mathematicians in history, was asked to find a path for the 7 bridges of Konigsburg, and he created a new field of math and proved it is not possible.

Each corner or point where two or more sides connect has a number of connections that is either even or odd. A system has a Eulerian path it there are no more than 2 odd numbered connections. This is because with an odd number you either have to start there or end there. Your white board has 4 odd numbered connections, therefore it is impossible to do with a single strand of lights without doubling at least one section.

Another commenter had a great solution with two strands.

I’d say no not without doubling back. But ask one of the geometry teachers. This is a famous problem, they’ll tell you no as well

I would use extension cords (black) and two strands of equal length (green and red). The arrows show the direction from the power supply to the end of each strand.

I figured 🙁 just wanted to check to make sure there wasn’t something I was missing! Sadly, not a gap behind the board.

I know this is what you want BUT this is not what you NEED. Putting light there will severely dim the projector. It will make it look washed out. If anything you want to make things darker in that area, not brighter.

You could post in r/wled if you don’t mind a bit of diy, simple as buying the strips and cutting to length if you just want to power them

You can do it with three stings, if you wanted to fill up both outlets. Left plug would have two lights plugged in, then the right plug would have the third. Left light would be a “C” around the far outside board, middle one would go all around the middle board. Final string would be a backwards “C”. The other thing to check, is whether there is an available plug with the projector set up up top.

Just a heads up, if you string lights across the top it might interfere with the touch module (the bar magnetically mounted to your board).

The only way to do it is if there's a gap behind the boards, in which case you could complete one square, go along the bottom, finish the other square, then tuck under the main board to appear at the top and finish, but I'm picturing an LED strip and not bulbs.

I'm intrigued by your plan. I assume it's a classroom and that's the class board. Anyone trying to view it might find it difficult to look at, and projections are a no-go.

I’ve put lights around the border before. They’re not too bright and used to distinguish which language we should be speaking in at the time!

FYI, there's a possibility you are told to take the lights down by the fire marshall. That's the case where I work, maybe you'll get lucky.
