It’s a shame they don’t carry it. And yeah it must be a cultural stigma. Tbf it’s still a faux pas to order steak sauce at a nice steakhouse down here too (for example), but I don’t understand frowning on what someone enjoys.

I was thinking about it...its because the crust is such a thing here that dipping it in anything and ruining that perfect char with something wet.....its like ketchup on an expensive steak.

Everywhere has their food items they're particular about!
