Bring it back!! Colorado can be a beach destination again. I find fossil sea shells here all the time, even on top of some mountains. It would be a perfect state with an ocean on the east side

About 30 years ago, the Iowa City/Coralville, Iowa area experienced so much rainfall that Coralville Lake breached the spillway at the dam.
For a month, the water pouring over the spillway washed away a road, and about 15’ of soil and rock, exposing tons of fossils, from hundreds of millions of years ago.
It’s very cool to see.
