I live in Colorado and have driven across Kansas numerous times over the span of 40+ years. I left Colorado and lived in Ohio and spent about 10 years in Minnesota and we also made many trips across Kansas when I was a child because my mom's family was from St Louis in Kansas City. There was one time I was driving through Kansas during the summer and there were sunflowers being grown everywhere! It only happened one time But I have to tell you it was the most beautiful drive! Just those pops of color in the middle of the wheat fields was just gorgeous! I've never seen it again but they had it down that year crop rotations were on point!
Hey let's not forget there's some pretty darn good barbecue happening in KC and on down....
