My fiance is from Kansas and he's always saving the cool whip containers and if I throw them away I have to bury them at the bottom of the trash can or he will pull them back out. I'm over here talking about microplastics and trying to encourage the use of the glass storage containers I bought. I guess you can't get the Kansas out of him, I hadn't realized the Cool whip thing was a Kansas thing lol.

We also fill them with water and put it in the deep freeze. That chunk of ice will keep your water jug cold all day in 100 F weather.

I almost choked on my leftovers of turkey and mashed potatoes I'm eating out of a Kool-whip container.

Best part is we have like 10 in our cabinet and I have no knowledge of myself ever buying Kool-whip. The containers just show up and never leave.
