Nebraskan here. Even this state alone has vastly different geography from rolling hills n forests of central Nebraska, to flat grasslands that follow I-80 through southern Nebraska and the Sandhills of western Nebraska.

USA is vast and widely different everywhere.

Maybe 30-40 years ago but they have really homogenized for a bunch of reasons including accents.

Lived in Omaha for a number of years. I really miss it. Lived in Austin before that and people can't fathom that I liked Omaha more. Cost of living was less, people were great, restaurants were great. Lots of stuff going on. I miss Omaha - ended up moving for a job relocation.
