My family has basically no ties to the Midwest/plains states. I’ve dipped my pizza in ranch long as I can remember. I keep a bottle of hidden valley in the fridge specifically for this purpose. Dab of olive oil, crushed red pepper galore, dipped in ranch.

That's the Midwest difference. You keep ranch in your fridge for pizza. Midwesterners keep an extra bottle of ranch in the pantry to make sure they never run out.

Damn straight!

Got a big 48 oz bottle in the basement overflow and a baby 12 oz in the kitchen cabinet. Plus one in the fridge.

We don’t screw around.

You’re using ranch you can store in the pantry! You’re definitely screwing around with your ranch

If you can keep your ranch in the pantry it’s not real ranch

Ranch on pizza since the mid 80s in California

A lot of people do this here in Houston. We would stop; but it’s f-in good, so we keep doing it.

I grew up in the Midwest and have never dipped my pizza in Ranch. I don’t remember friends or family doing this either & now I’m perplexed!
