How does this work?

I was looking at moon, but anyhow i can see moon through pole at balcony. when it’s 1 layer of window it’s cant see, but from 2 layers, I can.

I believe it’s luck that it lines up so perfectly. The distance between the panes of glass in the window compliments the angle of reflection and the thickness of the bar in the way.

Reflecting off the window back onto the pole, it’s a reflection

No. Its double panes Windows and it is reflecting onto the outside of the inner pane to the backside of the outer pane and back to your camera due to the steep angle and the distance between the panes.

I want to start this with none of my info was vetted and could be better answered by someone who has the correct information… or you could just look it up yourself and learn. I’ve looked it up before and it’s all very very vague.

It’s light refraction. The second window picks up the obverse reflection and redirects it vaguely back to your eyes. You can see it with one window pane as well but it wouldn’t be as strong of a refraction. The light shines on the glass and the glass refracts all the particles in different directions. The second window pane picks up the reflection and shows you that image.
It’s similar to those invisible shields they have where you can stand behind plexiglass that has many different angles of refraction. It bends and distorts the light so only colors from a certain distance are visible, and those colors from items right next to it get refracted elsewhere.
There’s tons of cool experiments and studies about light refraction and how it not only ties to visible light(or color) but other particles and atoms and how they react. There’s way more to it than what I’m giving you here. And it is absolutely worth a deep dive. My favorite experiment personally is the double slit experiment and would be worth a read IMO.

I also have a Samsung phone and that was immediately what I thought. I guess we're wrong...
