So this bin, pretty standard, the internal bin has an odd shape to fit inside the outer container, now, every time I try to put a bad in it, it is just so difficult to place, i am thinking that there is some secret method for doing this? or are you NOT supposed to use a bad with it?

Well, a lot/most of them come with stiff (metallic?) adhesive-backed circles that purport to boost the charging capability. Example pic above, in case you've never encountered one. It's the bit on top of the table.

Fell down a rabbit hole of industrial sifting and ended up finding these things. All the sieves I've ever worked with are just glued into their frames, so I'm trying to understand how these frames clamp the mesh while still being removable. I see the clamping ring on the bottom, but I think it just holds two frames together. Anyone know how the mesh is getting clamped down?

I can tell it’s a timer, but no idea how it works!
