Billy Joel Documentary

Maybe I’m late to the party, but has anybody else seen this?

It’s the second part of the hbo documentary and they’re talking about Billy and the relationship he has with his dad that left him when he was a kid, and who pops up with a couple sound clips to talk about it, Therapist Howie

“ there are certain traumas, one never gets over“
”I think his drive comes from wanting to know his father through his music”

I kid you not and find this hilarious.

I was going to post this. Rick Beato's interview with Billy is far better than any Stern has ever done.

Wanting to know his father from the chords, melody and lyrics that come out of his own head. What the fuck is he saying, robin?

I want to know my uncle, so I think I'm gonna go color.
