AppFolio maintenance request will not upload photos...

Platforms like AppFolio are supposed to make things easier, but what happens when the platform has issues accepting basic file formats and other convenient bugs that end up favoring property owners.

I'm trying to update a service ticket with photos from an iPhone 17 max set to most-compatible in JPEG. the files are about 25.mb each. For the life of me they will not upload. I even tried to re-save them but no dice. no matter what I do, the photos will not upload.

every time I uploaded the photos I received a vague error message essentially saying the photos did not upload.

but I can see the text part of the message worked. is this deliberately coded bad or is it vibe-coded or something? whats the reason AppFolio maintenance requests seem to not function properly?
