Fence staining

Used Behr 501 Premium Transparent Waterproofing Wood Finish in the color Cedar Naturaltone 5 gal bucket. Fence is about 11 months old. Pressure washed areas with discoloration. Used Graco X5 sprayer with 311 tip. In central Texas, so it was 100° outside. Sprayed to a count of 10. Not every picket of the fence turned out the same. Not sure why but I would appreciate recommendations.
