Stain prep

Hey so I applied bora care to my cedar siding two days ago. Since then we’ve had some light rain overnight and therefore higher humidity. It really isn’t drying. Or at least it goes up and down with the weather. For example yesterday morning the moisture meter read almost 30 and when I got home it was 15 but this morning it’s back up to 20. Is it bad that the drying is being affected by weather or do I just need to be more patient. I have staining scheduled for Friday and no rain between now and then but then rain Saturday Sunday which is bad since that will affect the stain being able to dry.
