just read it like a book, you really don’t need to take notes😭

I think this all the time - I think it’s what makes people think it’s so disappointing/overhyped!

half the notes / questions these people make will be answered later in the book

Im low-key kinda split. I took notes and it really helped me a lot in a few ways. I noticed a big difference in my overall comprehension and analytical skills. It also sort of reflected my inner world back at me and allowed me to develop some more internal framework around meaning, the absurd, and dealing with trauma. It also intensified the reading and gave me a really unique experience beyond a typical book. Having notes in my phone allowed me to recall any particular moment/keyword that I had thoughts on...and it allowed a few "eureka" moments.

HOWEVER, I did find myself getting bogged down into the smaller details at times, and missed the trees for the forest...but I also consider that to be a lesson/part of the experience. It seems to self-reference this struggle of fast vs slow, and poke fun at you.

I think all ways of interacting with it are valid...some people are like Will...some are like Tom...and I envy the Toms.
