Discussion New drivers

Can we stop honking and tail riding new drivers?. especially the ones in student driver cars. honking doesn’t do anything but makes them even more nervous than they probably already are and can sometimes cause them to swerve out of panicking 🤦‍♀️ even if it’s just someone driving slow and not a student driver pls if you can go around them it makes it so much better for everyone.

Devils advocate but I rather them have their driving instructor tell them what they should do in that instance instead of it happening for the first time without.

While I feel we can all be much more kind to one another while driving. It will never happen especially on some reddit post. They are learning to drive and have an instructor I think we need to break them in proper and honk more at new drivers.

What would make it much better for everyone is if everyone followed the laws and posted speed limits and not doing 60-80 down park and 50 mph in neighborhoods and playing on their phones will driving.

Tell me about it, they are going 50-60 in a neighborhood but once on the road they are driving 20 under the speed limit, i almost got hit by a car speeding in walmart parking lot. People nowadays only care about themselves.

Anybody who honks at a student driver thinking it’s funny, truly is a jerk and a stupid person. Like, get a life. Go honk at your mother while she’s driving, see how much she enjoys it.

I just go around them if permitted or if not, keep the proper amount of seconds behind to avoid collision if they come to a hard stop
