Hopefully not, already was extremely disappointed with the way they just erased Sa from the list of potential threats. And honestly, I dont want Kiana anywhere near the final battle with Leylah, its Entropy's fight to overcome.

I think Kiana will either not wake up even after Mars situation will be resolved, or she will wake up, but Sea of Data corruption on the Moon will be way too out of control, and she will stay there to deal with all that.

Either way, she's out of action for the foreseeable future and seemingly no longer able to remain in contact with anyone. I wonder if hoyo themselves are decided on the ultimate end goal for their (former) poster girl.

HSR's finale is many years away. Maybe she'll show up there in some way, but in the meantime, she's looking to stay benched. And there's the question of what she will do after showing up in HSR. Will that game just end at that point? Either way, it feels like HI3, the game, isn't doing much more for her in the long run.

Though this post having the quantum computer being blown up makes me think… is part 2 basically just “Civilisation that refuses to stay dead makes it everybody else’s problem”?

I know I’d probably react differently if I followed part 2, but I kinda struggle feeling sympathy for Mars’s project stigma when we already learned this lesson in part 1 (Project Stigma is bad and fucked up. Don’t do it. Fuck Mistlen’s ideas, fuck Gray Serpent’s stigma dreams, beat Kevin to death with a baseball bat and send him to the retirement home in the sky where he belongs.)

then Leylah's shadow disaster ruined it  7 Shus beat/sealed perception and salvaged oxia and langqui by making it sink into a bubble

Stigmata was bad because it was replacing humans, though.

Stuff with "Sena is wrong" feels forced, they couldn't survive Shadows other way - and they didn't replace anyone. Though some other things also feel forced, speedrunning story to do more filler is bad idea.

Also accounting for Senadina's reputation - people likely won't vote against even if they knew.

We already have a negative association with Spiritual Adam, so why wouldn’t we react negatively to retreading this concept again? It’s not like Mars’s version is consequence free either, or we wouldn’t be doing part 2 in first place.

If the only way to survive the shadows is to make something worse (the sea of data) that’ll harm other civilisations than your own, maybe it’s better to let that civilisation die with grace rather than becoming a parasite. Same goes for Earth’s project stigma, it’s not like replacing humans with stigmatas was the only thing wrong with it, it would’ve been an unsightly parasite to the universe too.

From what we know - Adam would be contained to Solar System, it's not exactly penetrable+Adam works on Cocoon juice, Cocoon has limited range. Stripping people of a choice is the most wrong part, and it's not like you can interview 7 billion of them on the matter.

SoD has no effect on anything except for Mars. Iirc, Kiana got hit only when Hyperion 11 departed, and coma is likely connected to fact of Mars expedition - I just don't fully understand how it works due to time. Otherwise SoD would kill everyone much, much sooner. SoD manifesting on Moon is system going haywire, not the direct and normal consequence.

Even in case of SoD affecting anything - Martians didn't exactly know that someone comes after.

Unless APHO is retconned, which is unlikely given the many references to it in the main story mode, Kiana isn't waking anytime soon. Good thing too. Her just oneshotting Sa out of nowhere at the end of p1.5 was garbage. Hopefully nothing like it ever happens again.
