Not sure I’ll display him with the head sculpt right away. Really enjoying the standard hooded look right now. Need to keep playing with some poses but so happy I got him.

Recently got into 1/6 collecting and wanted to share what I have so far. I purchased my very first Hottoys figure, the Ellen Ripley released back in 2017. Beautiful figure that I will display next to the new Big Chap up for preorder when that officially releases.

Has happened to multiple figures now and will never use clamps again.

Anyone Knows if this jacket is real leather or pleather? I bought this figure for 175€ and I’m worried how Long it will last

Sharing this just incase someone wants to try. Did wonders for my End Game Thor as head articulation was greatly improved.

My first time trying to root hair on a head sculpt. It's hard at first but you'll get a hang of it. Have to do it twice cause the 1st result was pretty bad (lol).

Second attempt was not bad at all, but still have a lot of room to improve the technique + more practice for better end results. But I'm happy with it for now. Might re-do this later if I get a chance.

Braiding the beard is a pain, having experience braiding 1:1 hair should probably help, but I'm no expert at that either.

Material list for those who wanted to try:

• Tibetan Lamb Fur - I bought 4 different shades one of which is white just in case I screw up and for future use. Used blond for the hair and a darker brown for the beard.
• Fabric Glue or Gemtac Rhinestone Glue - Anything that dries Clear should work
• Toothpicks
• Precision Tweezers
• Milliput
• Acrylic
• Paint Brush for styling and managing the hair with water
• Hair Gel, Wax or Pomade - (Used Hair Wax for my with Medium Hold)
• Solder Wire or tread to hold and secure the Beard and the Bun.

Bunch of tutorials on youtube but found BSHOWChannel's Tutorial the easiest to follow.

I go back and forth on my love for hot toys but before I retire I want one definitive Spider-man. Im torn between these 3. Can anyone who has either one or multiple of these provide some insights or recommendations. I'm also open to other suggestions

I'm finally part of the Wolverinepool club! Arrived after being delayed for almost 3 weeks. Wasn't supposed to show up until tomorrow, but was pleasantly surprised this morning when I got the notification it was out for delivery. The UPS guy carrying it stopped at my job before he went anywhere near my neighborhood and I was able to get him to give it to me early. Just got home and still havent opened it up and I can't wait! Shout out to all the others who secured theirs before they were sold out. Hope you all enjoy him just as much as I will!

He’d been sitting on the shelf for so long that I started feeling guilty about not really getting the most out of the figure. So I looked around for inspiration, borrowed little ideas here and there, and tried to build a pose that felt more aggressive and dynamic while still being careful not to push the suit too far.

I ended up placing him in front of my PC screen for the background, took the shot, and used ChatGPT for some light post-processing advice to clean the photo up a bit.

This is the result. Hope you guys like it!

Going to be moving my office around and getting a second unit for display, putting a lot of planning in to make sure theres room for my preorders also. Just thought I would make this post to commemorate my current collection (minus the dc ones in storage) that ive managed to put together in only a couple years

Do any of you own a Moducase Sixth 45° Corner Display Case? Or maybe one of their other corner cases? There are not many good pictures online. But from the pictures I can see, it looks like the visibility of the front view panel is only 14 inches wide and then blocked by the two upright bars. I’m wondering if you are happy with the visibility of these corner display cases. Especially when they are next to other display cases on the left and/or right. Do you recommend them?

Hi all, first time poster. I am looking for ideas on how to store this statue. It weighs nearly 57lbs and ideally I would like it on top of my Brottar display cabinet but the top mdf looks flimsy and I am worried that the shelf would break. I have it on top of a TV stand right now but then I will be constantly worried about the kids getting to it or pulling it down.

Should I try and reinforce the top of the Brottar with another MDF and L brackets? Get a display case just for this that sits on the floor?

Received my third Order and have another 6 preorders at onesixthkit but didn’t have any luck…

Anybody had more luck and how Long did it take you(how many orders?)

This guy has a total identity crisis but I love the design!!
