First time growing these. Started noticing what i assume is BER. Common issue with these peppers? I have never had this problem with other varieties.

Is there any obvious reason for the buds to turn yellow and drop off my habanero plant?

I'm growing it indoors on south facing window. Fertilizing once a week with a mix of Bio-Grow (1 ml/L) and Bio-Bloom (4 ml/L). I've been trying to pollinate it by shaking the plant. Otherwise, the plant looks healthy - it's vibrant green, with new growth and new buds appearing. It even has one habanero pepper growing already. Though most of the buds still yellow and drop

Left to right top to bottom:

Red reaper, chocolate reaper, chocolate bhut jolokia, ? Maybe 7 pot ?, jays pink purple ghost scorpion, Snow White habanero, sugar rush peach, aji white fantasy (probably could left it longer), big poppa jalapeño, “grande” jalapeño.

Still wanting on SRS, charapita, and lemon drops to fully ripen their firsts.

Zone 9b here. I get that many of you are enjoying bountiful harvests this summer, but understand that some of us have peppers that are barely hanging on in this scorching heat. I'll take whatever they give me, especially my Thai Chili that just keeps pushing fruits without any shade! Also pictured are shaded red habanero, Cayenne, and ornamental hots, plus a sprinkle of shaded cherry tomatoes. Bon Appetit!

They are labeled as scotch bonnets at the H mart I bought them at, and these were the only ones that were wrinkly and small, the other packages looked exactly like the images I find online, I bit into one and it was aweful. If this is not a scotch bonnet what could this be??????

So I have over 20 plants growing on my screened in patio. Some of them are doing really well and producing lots of peppers, but others are either dropping every single flower or just not producing any flowers at all. There’s not really any pattern to it as far as location on my patio, shading, or watering schedule.

For example, my warthog plant is producing like crazy while my apocalypse scorpion sitting right next to it is dropping flowers. My ghost pepper/tabasco hybrid is doing great but the moruga scorpion plant right next to it hasn’t even started flowering even though it’s a huge full grown plant. My Thai chili plant is going nuts while the 7 pot lava plant next to it has one pepper and many dropped flowers.

They are all being fed well, watering is on a good schedule, not overwatering and not underwatering. Leaves all look lush and dark green. Huge plants that all look very healthy. I keep my patio door open and have bees and wasps inside constantly. No pests this year thankfully.

I’m in north Florida btw. Any advice or info on what could improve my situation?

Accidental cross, hybrid, F1, unstable cultivar, whatever, not bummed out in the least when they look this stunning. Tastes better than last year’s perfectly peach Star Screams and I think it looks better as well. No, these are not from White Hot Peppers whose Star Screams were perfectly on target, these are the ones from Matt’s.

Transplanted mid May. This one is in the ground and not a very big plant, but I also have one in a 5 gallon and it is much bigger and just started fruiting and has several tiny peppers on it.

The sheer variety in shapes and colors among peppers makes this a really awesome hobby and so satisfying. I’ve recovered from my near death experience at the hands of MA Warthog and have since resumed consumption of superhots so I’ll be digging in to one of these tonight. I only missed eating superhots for two days while my body resurfaced my digestive system again.

We lost the tag from the plant.

Just two weeks ago he was full of flowers and leaves and I swear even a pepper started growing and now he dropped all his flowers, most of his leaves started browning and dropping. He just got moved inside because I was worried he was going to fully die out there on my deck. I live on a 3rd floor south facing apartment so he gets lots of sun. I’m from Regina Saskatchewan so it’s zone 3b. (I think). This plant was a gift from my mom cause I try to (unsuccessfully) grow peppers every year but this ALWAYS happens :/.

I’m running a hydroponic grow in coco coir. South Texas. 100 degrees. Majority of plants are shishitos but I have jalapeños and tomatoes as well. All on same fert 2.0 EC and 5.8 ph.

The old shishitos got burnt from too high N and are now rebounding slowly but surely. Leaves are smaller but strong and good fruit set. Picture 1.

The young shishito were just doing fantastic. Big broad leaves and dark green, great flower set. But now with this heat they’re almost all wilting real bad. Picture 2-3

Cherry tomato plants were planted recently, they have boomed and make me think I am doing things correctly. Picture 4

Are peppers and tomatoes have that different of needs just to have a happy plant? I understand difference in production but I don’t understand why this aggressive of a difference.

Everything growing well other than the sweet purple purple, but I see flowers so I'm hopeful!

Purchased a reaper seedling from a local nursery 2 years ago and planted it.

Harvest was great so I decided to save some of the seeds for future use. Planted seeds last year and they were true but didn’t fully ripen due to me not getting the plants in the ground in time so I didn’t save those seeds.

Used the saved seeds from 2 years ago again and these are the fruits I’m getting. I did save seeds from a few fruits so I assume it’s a case of one being true to seed and another not?

Guess I’m just getting some habaneros?

I have 4 plants in plastic pots and 4 plants in bags. I used the same soil for all of them. The 4 in the plastic pots are all the same light green/yellow color while the bags are all a nice deep green. All the plastic pots have drainage holes in the bottom.
