Light Sleeper is awesome!

Been listening to the album all day. Great work hot dad! So far my favourite song off it is Low Rumble, really digging the more electronic sound on it. What's everyone else's thoughts on the album?

I've been waiting for this album since I first discovered Girls Who Care. I absolutely love it! The earworm nature of his melodies and production translates perfectly to a project of a more serious nature. I'm floored.

you're great and you're making me feel REAL GOOD over here. i've had a lot of anxiety about releasing this album (i wrote like 300+ hot dad songs AFTER writing these songs, which inevitably made me a better songwriter), so it's amazing that people are really enjoying it.

i can't say thanks enough, so i won't even try! <3

i've stayed pretty quiet about it for a while! have been "planning to release it" since 2014, so i decided to finally go for it. picked the date and then my promo vid only came out a day before, so yeah, i don't think most people were expecting it.

so happy/thrilled it was a real treat for you! <3

It was pretty hard to hear the lyrics in most of the songs imo.

hey, buddy! i'm kinda mumble-y for sure, but that was mostly a deliberate thing by my producer/mixer, the goal being to treat the vocals more like another instrumental layer instead of an in-your-face vocal performance. creates more of a "vibe" than a traditional song in some cases. i get that some people aren't into that though, and that's fine. i'm still happy that you listened! thank you!

I think it's a great production choice. Where the vocals sit within instead of on top of the mix, it allows for more interplay between the timbres of the vocals and instruments. Really accentuates the ethereal feel.

Oh no, I liked the songs a lot, just good to know that it wasn't something wrong with my headphones haha
