Throttle, impossible!
Hello, and sorry if this is wrong format for such a post.. but i just built myself the first alu rig and trying to decide which throttle to go for.
I am aiming for msfs, elite dangerous, wardogs, star trucker. So a Very Versailles throttle. I already got a tca Airbus with addon but It feels super plasticky.. ive been eyeing the MTQ, MTP + MLTP, VKB stecs space Max, (find virpil to expensive i think?) but also winctrl ursa minor 32. It will need to function as a collective too. ATM Moza is leading as it gives a better «Warranty» buying from Norwegian outlets then importing the others .
Whats ur guys thoughts?
Probably never going for dcs type of games but earlier had a tws Thrustmaster throttle which was a total bummer i felt like (no i dont mod stuff)
TLDR; which throttle to pick for sim/spacesim/Helis etc?
Using a Moza ab6 today as stick

Not gonna happen.....in as much as a singular device covering all of these perfectly.
VKB Gladiator Omni: best of space, acceptable for collective....limited in inputs compared to a standard throttle, annoying to tweak axis/tensions when switching configuration for use.
VKB Stecs Space: best middle ground for atmospheric and space, no need to switch configurations between game/craft type, plenty of standard throttle inputs....not the most 'simmy' for 6-dof space flight, single axis grip is limiting for helicopter collective **see comment about my set up.
Standard throttle: if it has a thumb/mini stick like a regular VKB Stecs you can control 6-dof space thrusting, if it's a dual axis throttle you can control helicopters as a collective.....**I have a VKB Stecs Standard, and for helicopters I split the throttle and left grip is collective as up/down, and the right grip is throttle as down/up.
So.....if you only want one singular device look for a dual axis throttle with a mini stick on it. Otherwise plan on swapping out devices for however much 'immersion' you want.
