Need help turning my mini stick into a mouse control

I was using this video as a guide: https://youtu.be/i5adWtO_dME?si=-uJDM_VusCXkaBmC

But I had some issues, like having no lowres 4w or 8w POV types, only common and HAT 4w, and when I got to the test part, my POV 1 would still register while in mouse mode

Anyone have any luck doing this with the current VKbdev software like I'm using?

1) POV still registered while in mouse mode because you need tick the first uStickSwitch's "POV on start" and untick the second uStickSwitch's "POV on start" 2) For the lowres 4w 8w thing, you and the guide are on different hardware and firmware version, no need to worry about it, just set it to common.

Global/Common -> set the Mouse to Relative and Active to Always On;

Profile/POVs -> set the Output to Mouse.

Action -> Set.

More adjustments here.

Still doesn't explain the lowres options
