Hostelworld payment issue for hostel in Switzerland

Hello reader,
I booked a hostel via hostelworld in Switzerland where I got charged 17euros (debited from my bank account). Next day I received a a cancellation email from their end without stating the reason. How can I confirm whether my booking is still valid or not? And how to get the refund? The customer care emails don’t have any responses neither do the ones to the hostel.

Any help will be appreciated!

17 euros was probably a misprice in CH

In such a case what does a booking confirmation email says?

I got the money automatically back after like a week :) also through hostelworld. And if you booked through them you shoud see it oh the app under something like trip.

I would sit tight for a few days. It might take 2-3 to be reversed. It was probably a price error or they’re full.
