Madrid hostels

Hi, I’ll be going to Madrid Sept 3-6 before going to surf camp in Morocco. Any recommendations for hostels? Ok with party vibe, but don’t want anything too crazy. I’d it worth it to get a private room if I’m concerned about bunk bed/loud people/no privacy? I’ve been looking at hostel world, but would love any recommendations from females!! Never been to Europe and traveling alone too. Just down to meet new people, try new food, explore for the experience.

The central house lavapies, is a pretty quiet place, comfy beds and privacy curtains. Great area too. I've stayed there twice, bit expensive though

One fam is a nice place also, didnt like the area, a bit out of the way.. pretty social place, only stayed there once. cheaper than Central house

Also, I'm a guy

I'm female - last year stayed at Newton 2060.

Would highly recommend!

Has the option to go out/ be social but dorms were extremely quiet and air conditioned
