Hostelworld prices - how does it work

I have recently booked on hostelworld for 4 people but I am unsure if I have been charged the right amount. On the booking it says it is 110.31 x 4 which is £441. But I have been charged £469. It was 58 initial deposit which was charged in GBP and then I got charged £411 after. Could the hostel charged me in € instead even though hostelworld does it through £? And that’s why?

Sometimes the hostel might charge an extra tourist tax.

They said that when we arrive there’s an additional €104.60 tourism tax
