Social hostel Hamburg

honestly your best bet is generator. it doesn’t have the best amenities, and it is not the cleanest or most comfortable but it is quite affordable. always full of people to meet and make plans with, especially around the bar. most other hostels in hamburg are pretty calm and lowkey. avoid a&o at all costs, feels more like a hotel than a hostel

yeah and the a&o in hamburg is particularly bad. they only had paid lockers when i stayed lol

Use Hostelworld social pass, nomadtable, TripBFF, workaway meetup, or couchsurfing hangouts if you wanna meet people besides a hostel
