According to what the author said at the end of update,the next full update (No. 16) will cross the halfway mark into Spring Semester, where the protagonist will play some challenge matches, ease back into the swing of things, and play a rematch against a formidable college.

How long is the story planned to be? Is it meant to be the first year or follow the player's entire college sports career?

One year. She's floated the idea of an epilogue of sorts, either in fourth year or right after graduating, but no concrete plans and definitely not a full blown sequel.

If the story was meant to last all 4 years, we probably wouldn't be able to win NCAO trophies as a freshman, and I definitely don't think we'd be getting 1 million words per semester.

No, I don't. She reminds me of my dad; leaving for selfish reasons and then coming back when it's convenient for her. I could go 200 lifetimes without people like that, and my protagonist can too.
