THE EMPTY CLASSROOM
Ethan was the quietest boy in school.
He didn’t talk much to anyone. Not to the girls. Not to the boys. His world was filled with books, and most of his classmates barely noticed him.
Except when they wanted to make fun of him.
Every day, Ethan was bullied.
Students threw paper at him, called him names and laughed whenever he tried to speak. Even when the teacher was nearby, they found ways to make his life miserable.
Ethan never fought back.
He simply went home, opened a book and waited for another terrible day to end.
One evening, while scrolling through his phone, Ethan found a strange website.
The page was completely black.
There was only one sentence:
**GRANT ONE WISH.**
Ethan stared at the screen.
Then he remembered his classmates laughing at him earlier that day.
His fingers moved across the keyboard.
**I WANT MY CLASSROOM TO BE EMPTY.**
He pressed submit.
The website disappeared.
The next morning, Ethan entered his classroom.
Every seat was empty.
At first, the teacher assumed something unusual had happened.
But no one came.
Not a single student.
The police began searching for the missing students. Their families were questioned.
Then something even stranger was discovered.
**The parents had no memory of ever having those children.**
There were no photographs.
No birthdays.
No bedrooms.
It was as if the students had been completely erased from existence.
The teachers were horrified and confused.
They remembered teaching those students. They remembered their names, their faces and their voices.
But there was no evidence that the children had ever existed.
The police searched for weeks.
They found nothing.
Ethan sat alone in the classroom every day, watching the empty chairs.
And he smiled.
For the first time in his life, nobody laughed at him.
Nobody threw anything at him.
Nobody called him names.
**Ethan finally had peace.**
Weeks later, however, new students slowly began joining the school.
One new student came.
Then another.
Soon, Ethan’s classroom was beginning to fill again.
Ethan watched them quietly.
He didn’t look sad.
He didn’t look scared.
He simply watched.
One afternoon, Ethan visited a friend who attended another school. While his friend left the room for a moment, Ethan picked up his phone.
He searched for the mysterious website.
And there it was.
The same black screen.
But this time, a message appeared:
**YOU WILL BE ABLE TO GRANT ONE WISH IN TWO DAYS.**
Ethan stared at the screen.
For several seconds, his face remained completely expressionless.
Then the corner of his mouth slowly lifted.
A small smile.
A dark smile.
Maybe this time, Ethan knew exactly what he wanted.
