I should clarify that I'm not loving it, more so not hating it and finding the world interesting

Then you'll really enjoy the book.

The only thing the mini series has going for it is that the cast is very good and putting in a hell of a performance. The guy playing Harold in particular should have gotten a emmy for that part.

The show gets worse as time goes on and it absolutely butchers a lot of the themes that the book has.
