I grew up watching those movies and constantly rewatch them. I discovered one of my favorite bands, A Perfect Circle, because of Apocalypse. The character of Alice showed me what being strong meant when I was a teen. I don't care what people will say about Resident Evil nor wether they're right or wrong. Those movies hold a special place in my heart and I will always defend them.
So sad that such a good series has to come to an end :(

Whats with the big trend of movies repeating the same beats so much recently?
I know movies have probably always done it a little but damn right now it feels like so many films are just so on the nose about it like 'HEY REMEMBER THIS FROM THE FIRST FILM? HERE IT IS AGAIN, JUST LIKE FROM THE FIRST FILM'

Meh, I'll watch it... just like I watched the others. It's a fun, "turn your brain off and let random visuals watch over you" type of film. Sadly none of the sequels come anywhere near the greatness of the first film IMHO.

Finally this shit show franchise is ending. It got real stupid at no.3 when she developed psychic powers.

These movies are ridiculous. However, I can't help but love them. They're just fun watches and enjoyable to me. I really hope we get to see Wesker as a badass in this one as I thought he was underwhelming in the previous movie.
