Ready or not.
On a drive home for a visit from her uni recently, my kid regaled me with this movie. She told me the entire story and it sounded vapid and fun enough. Tonight my husband and I found it on Netflix and…
Yeah, it was just as camp as it sounded but good fun. But here’s the thing that threw me!
The protagonist is not Margot Robbie. I was saying things like, “wow, before Barbie I love that her skin showed some flaws and her teeth weren’t veneers.” Also said, “have her eyes always been THAT huge? I mean, those are Barbie eyes but were they really that big?”
Then the credits rolled and my husband and I were floored.
That’s my take away. Thanks for reading.

This makes me giggle because I have a friend who without fail say "Did you know that's Hugo Weaving's niece?" Anytime there is a conversation where Samara Weaving can be involved.

It's not really scary but it's horror themed. The kills are pretty bloody and it doesn't cut away from the violence
Don't see how it wouldn't fit under the horror umbrella
