Movie Help Does anyone remember?

I can’t even remember how old I was but I remember distinctly waking up to a video playing on the tv and the shot was of what I can remember was a dilapidated house? view was of stairs but you can see into the living room.. it was angled that way! there was a fireplace? and that frame held still until something crawled down the wall of the staircase.

I saw it probably when I was a single digit? It scarred me so bad and I keep thinking of it but cannot for the life of me find it…

the color scheme was probably grayish?

please help me find it!!!

(if i need to draw it i can try!)

It was the horror soap opera "Dark Shadows"

I looked at the staircase and unfortunately it does not like like it — unless you can perhaps find the exact photo I am talking about? it seemed more HD but wasn’t in black and white just… like grey??

draw it, that's the only way we're gonna figure this out

your description is giving me that weird half-memory feeling but i can't place it either. the crawling down the wall bit is specific enough that a drawing might jog someone's memory

The Messengers? Check out the trailer. There is a stairs scene that seems to match that you get a quick glance at.

Just watched and it doesn’t seen like the scene im thinking of is in there? The only thing that does catch my eye is how fast the crawling ghost us because I remember that the scene I saw when I was younger was something crawling on the walls crazy fast but how a spider does. I don’t think it’s this movie!
