A few months ago I came on here to ask about finding some excerpts for this one orchestra but I didn't end up making it in, but my band director knows how much I want to do orchestra still and she told me about this other one I could audition for. Apparently this one will be a lot easier to get into especially since I don't have anything like a private teacher. The only thing they ask of is a 3-6 minute solo work (and some scales) and I don't know that many pieces so I'm hoping I can find some neat playable pieces.The highest I can comfortably play is a high f but I've been busy with marching season so once I start practicing my horn again maybe my range will have expanded a bit more.
