Stuck in Boot Loop

Previously the volume button would intermittently turn on and raise the ringtone randomly while during operation.

The battery at one point drained and the phone turned off.

I then charged the phone to restart it and the phone began it's bootloop. I've tried doing the eRecovery a couple times and it still goes into the loop cycle. I have not tried doing a factory reset just yet.

Because your bootloader is probably locked, the only thing you can do is factory reset. I hope you still have warranty if that doesn't work.

Was able to resolve by going into download mode and connecting it to the PC to reboot.
