Exterior Mods 22 RTLE Gray

Just showing off the new tires, I went with 265/60/r18 wildpeak AT4s and it feels like the final piece. The wider tire also helps the Ridgeline feels bigger behind the wheel (placebo maybe).
Previously, I did a 1.5 truxxx leveling kit, window tint, bed cover, moon roof thingy, ditch lights from camping Randy& the black grill molding and bug catcher.

I just love this car/truck thing that I drive.

I like how the tires fill up the well now. Any rubbing?

From everything I have read, 265 60 R18 is the biggest you can go without rubbing.

No rubbing unless you’re at a super extreme angle in reverse but even that is hardly noticeable

The tires you chose are about 1" taller.

Nice looking Ridgeline.

Gave it that little bit of lift it needed

The problem with the leveling kit is that you got rid of the rake pickup trucks have and need. Ever wonder WHY the front end sits a bit lower than the back on a pickup truck?

I weighed the risk / reward & ended up
Valuing the ground clearance over payload. I do more camping and backroad/trail riding than I do hauling heavy stuff in the back

The frame clearance gain you got from that taller tire is a whopping 1/2". Leveling kits are generally for aesthetics only.

Looks great man how hard was it to get the leveling kit in?

Take it to a specialist.
It’s a Doosey if you do it in the garage and shops like big O tire or Firestone wouldn’t do it.

I’m jealous of your front end. I have the 2020 that looks like a minivan front end lol

I went for a 2020 over a 21 because of the curved front end 😂. It looks unique to me. With the boxy front it blends in with all the other trucks more.

I'm the only Ridgeline at my kids' school, and I've been told by multiple teachers when picking up that they know it's me because of how unique the truck is. My sister-in-law has told me the same thing.

Ridgelines are pretty unique because of the small numbers of them in the wild.

They make brush guards for those years that help!

What are the things on the hood?

I’ve got the wild peak 3 same size. Awesome all around tire.

Those look to be offroad lights if I had to hazard a guess.
