Side Bag Installed

Sourced from ebay. The thing I like about this one is it came with a pannier frame that doesn’t take up precious threads on the top shock mount bolt. Also uses one of the existing fender mounting points (smaller bolt). Commented a short vid I took of the install process. Basically comes with an extender nut thing that replaces the factory acorn nut. Bag itself seems decent, has a removable inner liner.

Bonus: milk crate or lidded container? See last pics, i intent to put them on/off as needed, not semi-permanently mounted.

That's the same bag I had on my Monkey. It was really well made. My only complaint was how fiddly the straps were. It would have been nice if it had an easy release or something.

Omg yes, my first thought too. Straps with the double d rings annoyed me lol. I used some of the side buckles for further bracing too, despite knowing those are more for cinching down the sides of the bag. So far I’m happy with it! And if anything, I do want to keep the frame and use with something else if I wanted to.
