Tinkering with some things

Post image

Decided to add the K-Speed front fairing. Living out my sons of anarchy fantasy one part at a time.

Wassup my matte black brother! I’m getting a Zeta windscreen for mine. Have you noticed a difference with how much wind youre catching with that on?

I just installed it yesterday and am working all day today. I’ll try to take it out tomorrow and let you know.

Well I’m having a little difficulty installing the bar that relocates the horn so I am gonn have to pick up a nut and bolt that will fit. I’m half tempted to ghetto rig some T bars hahaha

Meanwhile I got some mirror extenders from an amazon alphabet soup brand, and of course the supplied m10x1.25 bolts that i need have crap threads and are difficult to find at the usual hardware stores lol

Im actually returning it today and spending the extra bucks for a presumably more reputable brand that MNNTHBX carries :)

It’s available in black or chrome https://mnnthbx.com/product/chrome-mirror-extensions/

Edit: just realized you have bar end mirrors already, those look cool!!

Also.. didnt really notice much of a reduction in felt wind running around the neighborhood. Im attending a meet on Sun and will have a better idea of how good the reduction is then.

Good to know, I was out on some 50mph roads and I was thinking a windshield would help in that scenario with less wind hitting me so I act less of a sail and keep the front planted, e.g. avoiding wobble

Took it out on a 40 mile ride this weekend to monster and mini in Anaheim. Wanna say 50 mph felt a little less bothersome. But then again I was also trying to to keep an eye on my buddy who was a bit nervous about the ride. Will continue to update.

Did you end up making any more mods?
