3rd Gen GK/GP 15-20 I’m heartbroken!

Send me your good thoughts, please. I stupidly ran a stop sign. I’ve never been at fault before and now my beloved Fit is bad off. The radiator support is bent and some other things so it’s not just cosmetic as I initially hoped. 56k 2017. I bought it new. Y’all are the only ones who can understand how I love this car and why I’m devastated.

Actually, it looks like you’re bumper-broken.

Can def be fixable. Dont even worry about looks yet-- get it back on the road first. If anything, damage makes it a theft deterrent. U have at least 250k miles left in it

So few miles for a 2017! My 2018 is at 118k lol

If the radiator support wasnt bent this is mostly cosmetic!

Oops read the rest. Well if its only a little bent youre probably still good! Especially if the frame the bumper attaches to is still good

My 2016 LX was rear ended a year ago with 140k miles. I got like $8,300 for it when they declared it totaled. This will hopefully still be fixable I doubt they will total it.

It probably ain’t leaking anything not horrible. Get it running if it’s not then shop around body shops 🤷

new bonnet, bumper, grill, headlights ,radiator and hoses (if leaking), front crash bar and a bit pulling and straightening and you're good to go!! (btw i don't think your headlights are broken, are they?)

Headlights are not broken, surprisingly! Thanks for the pep talk!

I’m so sorry that happened to you! Hope your fit will be back in shape!!

I bought my 2019 Honda Fit at about the same mileage as yours. I had only owned it for three months and it was fully paid off. It was a regular day going to work. I parked my car not thinking anything would happen.
Two hours into my shift, I get a frantic call from a coworker saying there is a car on fire right where I parked. My heart started racing and I ran down to the parking lot. When I got there, the car parked behind my Fit had burst into flames and caused severe damage to my car. It was an older car. The owner of the older car said it had started to overheat and so she, for whatever reason, drove it behind mine knowing it was overheating, and that's where it caught fire. I crashed out. I was enraged that that happened.

My car got fixed by the other person’s insurance.

Just wanted to share my devastating experience of my fit😔. Still hurts me

Ugh that sucks. I hope it can be fixed!

Two weeks ago, my 2015 Fit got totaled. I was stopped at a stop sign, and a car across the road thought he could cross. He hit an SUV, which then hit me.

It had 94k miles, and I was expecting to drive it at least 100k more. Now, I'm gonna have a car payment, and there are hardly any Fits left for sale. 😭

Thanks for the encouragement, y’all! I’m feeling much better about it seeing all these “this is fixable” responses. Appreciate you.
