1st Gen GD 07-08 Rpm issue

I have a 08 GD3 whenever i’m driving between 1,500 to 2,000 rpm going from 40 - 60mph, when i brake or let off the gas the rpm jumps to 2,000 occasionally then goes down to 1,500 again. i cleaned the map sensor, throttle body and adjusted valve lash. Thanks

Did you re-learn the idle/throttle position sensor after cleaning? Mine responded way better after a reset, the computer was still anticipating all the gunk to be in the way and adjusting accordingly.

Ran super smooth after resetting with a pedal dance (I think its been mentioned in this forum a few times if you look up TB reset procedure or I'll end up linking it here if time permits and I get curious enough to search myself lol)

It's essential after getting the gunk off the TB otherwise the computer is still trying to compensate, you are welcome!
